Watch the Experience
The Challenge
Singapore Botanic Gardens wanted to create an immersive experience that would educate visitors about the history of the gardens and the importance of nature conservation. The challenge was to deliver a large-scale projection mapping experience that could engage thousands of visitors without creating noise pollution or disturbing the natural environment.
The Concept
Cinewav X created "Voices of the Gardens" from a simple but powerful premise: **What if trees could speak? What would they tell us?**
The goal was to create an eco-friendly, large-scale projection mapping experience with immersive audio that would allow each visitor to have a personal, intimate connection with the story while experiencing it as part of a large audience.
The Solution
Cinewav conceptualized, wrote, and animated characters and projections onto the trees that told a 15-minute story with a complete narrative journey. Using synchronized audio delivered through visitors' personal devices, the experience achieved:
- **Personalized immersive audio** for each visitor
- **Zero noise pollution** in the natural environment
- **Scalable storytelling** for thousands of simultaneous participants
- **Deep emotional engagement** through narrative-driven content
The Impact
Visitors were transported into the world of trees and learned about the history of the gardens as well as the plight of nature. The experience was entertaining, touching, and inspiring—proving that large-scale projection mapping can tell meaningful stories when paired with Cinewav's synchronized audio technology.
The testimonials speak for themselves: audiences were moved by the combination of stunning visuals and cinema-quality audio delivered directly to their ears.
